A vibrant crosswalk celebrating diversity at Spencer Middle School in Langford opened on Feb. 29.
It has been a difficult road for the Progress Flag crosswalk as it was the recent target of vandalism, leaving the students devasted.
That changed when support came in from other students around Langford, said Georgia Banner, a student at Spencer Middle School and a member of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Club,
“When the crosswalk got vandalized, it made me angry and upset.
