Parksville was named one of Canada’s Top 10 cities for retirement, according to an article by Insight Magazine.
The city’s mild year round climate, scenic golf courses and parks were noted, along with opportunities for boating, kayaking, and otherwise enjoying the Strait of Georgia.
“Parksville is a great place to call home and for so many reasons,” the City of Parksville said via email to the PQB News.
