8 runners, 8 days, 800 km raised over $180K for Wounded Warriors BC

The runners finished the last leg of the run in Victoria on March 3

They endured all sorts of weather from snow to rain during Wounded Warrior BC the 800 km run from Port Hardy to Victoria.

A group of eight runners started the relay-style challenge on Feb. 25 at Carrot Bay Park in Port Hardy and over eight days traversed down the Island to Victoria’s Market Square for the grand finale.

The runners ranged from police officers to firefighters, to military members to paramedics, to service dog handlers.
